 The Viewpoint Computer Club consists of four user groups – Android, iPad, MacIntosh and Windows PC. Each user group meets separately as described below. Annual club dues are $10 per person and permits participation in all the user groups. In addition to general classes/sessions, small instructor led classroom training is offered to members for a small fee. Visit our website www.vpcc.info and view the Computer Club’s informational postings on the bulletin board in the Activities Hallway.

ANDROID USER GROUP

This is a new group for users of non-Apple/Microsoft tablets. Most run a version of the Android operating system. Classes start in January on the 1st & 3rd Mondays 10:00am - 11:00am in the Kokopelli Room.

iPAD USER GROUP

This group for iPad, iPod & iPhone users meets on the first and third Fridays of each month beginning November 21 through March from 1:00pm - 2:30pm in the Kokopelli Room. General meetings include presentations and question and answer sessions.

MACINTOSH USER GROUP

This group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month beginning January 13 through March from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in Hobby Rooms 2 & 3. Workshops and demonstrations will include basic computer usage, question and answer sessions and troubleshooting.

PC USER GROUP

This group for Microsoft Windows PC users meets Wednesdays at 1:00pm -2:30pm in the Kokopelli Room beginning November 11 thru late March. General weekly meetings consist of presentations and demonstrations on various Windows topics. Time is dedicated each meeting for questions and answer discussions.

PC COMPUTER LAB

The Viewpoint Computer Lab has seven Windows PCs for use by park residents. These computers have a high speed internet connection, Windows 7, Open Office and connection to a black laser printer. To use these computers park residents must purchase a punch card from the Activities Box Office. The lab is staffed by volunteer monitors and is open November through March. Open times vary, so please check the computer lab door or Activities Office for open times. Volunteer monitors are needed.
